The luxury rehab clinic The Balance aims to 鈥減rovide the perfect environment鈥� for its patients as part of its 鈥渃arefully designed therapeutic interventions and a person-centered holistic approach.鈥� In line with this philosophy, the anySCALE Europe team has been appointed to design their practice in Palma de Mallorca, as part of their facilities on the Balearic Islands.

Located in a prime spot overlooking Palma鈥檚 Real Club de N谩utico, with its pristine sailing boats, the practice offers the perfect setting for a unique recovery experience in the Mediterranean. The former attorney鈥檚 office has been completely refurbished into a practice featuring various treatment rooms, arranged around a welcoming communal area. The design makes use of a large, previously abandoned rooftop, which has been transformed into an outdoor lounge with direct access from the treatment rooms.

The color scheme for this project revolves around mellow cr猫me and olive tones, creating a sense of ease and tranquility that supports patients鈥� well-being during treatment. Custom-made timber wall paneling, frameless glass, natural ceramics, and a newly woven floor made of recycled vinyl give the space a timeless touch. A carefully curated mix of furniture from Spanish and Scandinavian brands, alongside custom-designed pieces, further reinforces the holistic design approach.

Last but not least, the artwork has been thoughtfully selected to enhance the sense of tranquility, with a standout piece by Mallorca-based artist Anja Kleener serving as a focal point in the customer lounge.
