Our project begins with the purpose of maintaining the existing nature, the need to achieve privacy from the access road and to guarantee views from the valley. For this reason we decided to submerge part of the house and float the rest over nature. In this way we get a house completely hidden from the outside and at the same time respecting the existing trees: the access is hidden from the street and half buried in the mountain; however, on the opposite side, the house flies over the valley and the nature.

The foundations are located only in the buried part of the house, the rest of the house overhangs the natural terrain so as not to affect the environment. It is a project that seeks NO invasion of the environment and maximum respect for the native nature.

The house is developed in a single space, divided by natural elements, such as water, vegetation... In such a way that with a single view we can understand the whole volume. The purpose is to create a home that facilitates the coexistence and relationship between its inhabitants. Likewise, the cantilevered volumes are set back from each other so as not to block sunlight, allowing each space to enjoy the views and natural lighting.

Sadly, in the area and in the architectural sector in which we work, major land modifications and a lack of native trees are prevalent. We hope that this project will help to understand the need for luxury housing to be even more environmentally friendly in order to set the trend and help to respect nature.
